This privacy policy describes how WIS Email Assistant (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our service.

1. What We Collect

• OAuth Access Token: We use Google OAuth to securely access your Gmail inbox. Tokens are stored encrypted and never shared.
• Email Metadata: We access sender, subject, and body of emails that match specific school-related keywords (e.g., “WIS”, “Westlink”).

2. How Your Data Is Used

• To read and summarize school-related emails from your Gmail inbox
• To translate the summary into your selected language
• To send a notification of the summary to your connected Telegram account

3. Data Storage

We do not store the contents of your emails. Summarization and translation results are temporarily held in memory for delivery to your Telegram, then discarded.

4. Revoking Access

You may revoke Gmail access at any time via your Google Account Settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following external APIs:

• Google OAuth 2.0 (for secure email access)
• Gemini / ChatGPT API (for AI summarization)
• Telegram Bot API (for sending messages)

6. Security

All communication is encrypted using HTTPS. Access tokens are stored securely and never exposed to unauthorized parties.
